Our Goals: Preservation, Empowerment, and Sustainability
Jero Tumbuk was formed from a deep-rooted passion for preserving the cultural heritage and natural environment of Bali while embracing a spirit of innovation. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful mission: to preserve and protect the cultural traditions and natural environment of our village while sharing these values with visitors through authentic, hands-on experiences. Our commitment to this mission is rooted in the belief that culture and nature are deeply interconnected.
At Jero Tumbuk, we are dedicated to safeguarding Bali's unique culture and nature heritage while enhancing the welfare of the local community through social enterprise initiatives. We offer visitors the opportunity to directly engage with the village through cultural workshops, retreats, and eco-tours, fostering meaningful connections. We take great pride in our efforts to preserve the region's natural beauty by promoting eco-friendly practices such as organic farming, sustainable tourism, and conservation projects that protect the local environment and encourage responsible interaction with nature.
In essence, Jero Tumbuk is more than just a place—it is a living testament to the harmonious balance of tradition, nature, and community. Through our work, we invite the world to experience Bali’s authentic soul while contributing to its ongoing preservation and prosperity.

At Jero Tumbuk, we are deeply rooted in Bali's vibrant culture and traditions, in its harmony with nature. Known as the 'Island of the Gods,' Bali captivates with its breathtaking thousand of temples and its people warm hospitality. Our journey began in the serene regency of Karangasem, located on the eastern side of Bali, at Banjar Dinas Santi, a small village of Selat located in the feet of the biggest volcano in Bali, Mount Agung, where our commitment to preserve the island's rich heritage took shape.
Karangasem offers a peaceful refuge from the tourist hotspots, with cascading rice terraces, ancient temples, and a community that cherishes the simple pleasures of life.

Selat, Karangasem: Where Tradition Meets Tranquility
